Cassie Neasbey

MENTAL HEALTH OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Cassie Neasbey, a woman with long brown hair and light skin, wearing glasses and a beige blazer, smiling in front of a light blue background.

Cassie is an AHPRA-registered occupational therapist with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and over eight years of experience working in public mental health services, including case management, crisis assessment (CATT), and acute inpatient services.

Cassie brings a strong foundation in trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and client-centred care. She is deeply attuned to the impact of mental illness on daily life and is committed to supporting people to regain function, build confidence, and move toward their recovery goals.

Known for her down-to-earth and collaborative approach, Cassie creates therapeutic relationships where individuals feel safe, heard, and empowered to share their experiences. She values the human story behind each person she works with and finds meaning in walking alongside people through life’s complexities—celebrating small wins and solving problems together along the way.

Cassie is a strong advocate for the people she supports, balancing compassion with realistic planning and communication. She thrives in team settings, embraces different perspectives, and is particularly skilled in navigating challenges where a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t apply.

Outside of work, Cassie enjoys spending time with friends and family, getting out in nature, and unwinding with a good book.
